Inca Civilization And Mayan Civilization
The Inca civilization started of as a tribe in the cuzco area. The is exactly where the first sapa inca, and Manco Capac had founded the kingdom of cuzco in the year twelve hundred. This was done under the leadership of Manco Capac. The state of Inca grew quite largely and it absorbed most of the other Andean communities. In the year fourteen hundred and forty two, the Inca civilization had come and began what seemed like a far reached expansion which was under the command of Pachacutec. This was the person who founded the Inca Empire. This also became the largest empire in the Pre Columbian America.
This is an empire that was split by a civil war, you can then decide who could be the Inca Hanan. This person would also be the Inca Hurin. These are the families who live in the higher parts of the city. There are some on the lower parts as well. In fact it is believed that some of the brothers of the Hanan cuzco and people from the Hurin cuzo.
Many Spanish people also took advantage of this situation and conquered most of what existed in the Inca territory. There were invaders who consolidated power over the whole region of Andean. These people also repressed the Inca resistance and were quite successful in establishing what seemed to be the viceroyalty in Peru in the year fifteen hundred and forty two. This happened to be the military phase of what seemed to be the Inca civilization Liberation movement.
The movement ended when Vilcabamba fell during fifteen hundred and seventy three. A lot of the sovereignty was lost. There were cultural traditions which remained quite strong amongst the descendants who survived. There were people like the Quechua and the Aymaras.
The Mayan civilization is a Meso American civilization which is known for developing the written language of the Pre Columbian America. The art and architecture of this place has many mathematical and astronomical systems. The Mayan civilization had been established during the Pre classical period. This date has been recorded according to the Meso American chronology. There are many Mayan cities which have reached their highest state of development.
The post classic period lasted all through the arrival of the Spanish people.
